Key Responsibilities
Clinical Excellence & Patient Care
● Comprehensive Care: Provide high-quality primary, preventive, and emergency
outpatient care for infants, children, and adolescents.
● Acute & Chronic Management: Lead the diagnosis and long-term management of

● Developmental Tracking: Oversee comprehensive growth monitoring and
developmental screenings, ensuring early intervention for delayed milestones.
● Clinical Protocols: Implement and refine evidence-based clinical protocols to
standardize care across the pediatric department.

Caregiver Engagement & Public Health
● Holistic Education: Counsel families on nutrition, breastfeeding, sanitation, and home-
based care to reduce re-admission rates.
● Community Health Integration: Support immunization campaigns and health

a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
● Medical Records Management: Maintain rigorous documentation standards in the
facility’s management system, ensuring data integrity for patient follow-ups and facility
reporting.
● Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with the pharmacy, lab, and
administrative teams to streamline the patient journey from triage to discharge.
● Quality Assurance: Lead peer-review sessions or case studies to analyze clinical
outcomes and improve safety standards.

● Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of post-residency experience in pediatric
clinical practice.
● Licensure: Fully licensed (or immediately eligible) to practice with the Liberia Medical
and Dental Council (LMDC).
● Specialization: Proven track record in pediatric medicine; additional certification in
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is highly desirable.

in a resource-limited environment.
● Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
explain complex medical information to caregivers of various educational backgrounds.

and the humanitarian mission of providing accessible healthcare.
● Adaptability: A positive, “can-do” attitude when navigating the logistical challenges of a
growing medical center.
