Duration Up to December 2021 with a possibility of extension depending on performance and funding
Location: Based in Monrovia, with regular field visits to project sites in the Southeast
Objective of the Position:To ensure proper management, distribution and accountability of asset and stocks/supplies according to Welthungerhilfe rules and regulations
Responsible to: Senior logistic Officer (Administrative) Head of Logistics and Procurement (Technical)
Responsible for: None
1. Supervise, monitor, and coordinate movements and accountability of supplies.

2. Maintain proper documentation and update of stock cards and bin cards.

3. Ensure proper storage of items according to Welthungerhilfe rules and regulations.

Duties and

4. Prepare and submit consolidated monthly stock movement reports.

Responsibilities:

5. Train field logistic officers on Warehousing policies, procedures, and systems.

6. Receive/dispatch goods from the warehouse using waybills and Good Received Notes.

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business

Administration, or similar discipline

Education

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position with a reputable INGO, UN agency or

the private sector

Professional Experience

Proven experience in warehouse management

Language Skills Excellent spoken and written English
Excellent understanding of warehousing management

Proven ability to use MS Office, Excel, Outlook, and Teams

Personal Skills

Proven ability to train others and maintain standards
