POSITION : Account Manager – B2B

REPORTING TO : Sales Manager – B2B

DEPARTMENT : Corporate Sales (B2B)

 

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The primary responsibility of the Account Manager is to meet or exceed established sales goals, including top-line revenue growth, market share objectives and quota achievement. Oversee projects and business relationship with assigned accounts, exceeding customers’ expectations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • To attend to customers and close sales.
  • To assist in collecting payments within the stipulated credit terms.
  • To promote the Orange products and constantly keep an update of the Orange new products.
  • To handle customers’ feedback.
  • To provide professional advice and services to customers.
  • To carry out any other duties assigned by the Managers or the Management from time to time.
  • To develop key and strategic account business plans, including identification and prioritization of key opportunities and “who / what / when” action plans necessary to close high-value business.
  • Build strong customer relationships necessary to identify the decision-makers and understand the decision-making process at each customer opportunity. Leverage these relationships in order to close business.
  • Develop and plan necessary visitation plans and appointments for all customers in her/his portfolio appointments. This includes participation in troubleshooting customer issues and evaluating our solutions real-time in the market.
  • Be an Orange Telecommunications Inc. brand ambassador in the industry capable of serving as a value-added consultant to customers. This will be accomplished by the completion of company training programs and continuous self-learning.
  • Interact with other departments in the organization to ensure the proper handling of customer requirements.
  • Timely preparation and submittal of proposals, quotations to management for approvals as necessary and to customers. These may be verbal quotations or may involve extensive technical documents supplied or requested by the customer.
  • Complete all administrative requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work closely with others to share bright ideas and best practices that will improve team performance.
  • Ensure timely reporting and communications as frequent and bi-directional as stipulated by management

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

 

Experience:

  • Five to seven years proven success in high-tech account management.
  • Two to five years experience as an account manager, product manager or project leader in an online commerce or supply chain venue and Sales or Sales support role in online commerce.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.

  • Serves with passion and vigor, energy giver, organized, masters attention to detail, listens, has a high sense of urgency, brilliant on the basics of selling skills, embraces accountability, hates to lose.
  • Strong PC skills, including experience using MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS and Web Browsers, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
