Overview
TipMe is a new e-payment service provider launching in Liberia. We are building a dynamic team of experts
to help build and shape the mobile financial services market in Liberia and beyond. Our Accountant will
play a key role in managing our Company’s finances and ensuring proper reporting. The Accountant will be
responsible for producing accurate financial reports to enable the Company to make sound financial
decisions.
We are looking for a tech-savvy, energetic, professional to join our team and contribute his/her expertise.

Responsibilities
▪ Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
▪ Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions
▪ Timely payment of monthly statutory returns,
NASSCORP, LRA
▪ Maintain accurate asset register and post monthly
journals
▪ Prepare accurate information for financial forecast
process
▪ Prepare monthly trial balance reconciliations
▪ Monitor petty cash
▪ Produce error-free accounting reports
▪ Support month-end and year-end close process
▪ Recommend financial actions by analyzing
accounting options
▪ Contribute to a strong client relationship through
positive interactions with client personnel
▪ Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating
activities and answering questions
▪ Ad hoc duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements
▪ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or appropriate field of study
▪ Working towards completion of a professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent
▪ 5 years relevant work experience
▪ Awareness of business trends
▪ Experience with creating financial statements
▪ Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year end close process
▪ Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
▪ Mobile Money market knowledge an advantage
