Gurus HR work with the clients to provide general and strategic HR support and solutions to optimise their businesses.

Administrative Assistant -Job Summary

GURUS is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will be deployed to work with one of Gurus HR clients, Euronimba Liberia. The Administrative Assistant will be based in Monrovia but may have to travel to project sites. The ideal candidate will report to the Operations Director and provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. In addition, the ideal candidate will support the Operations Director and employees through various tasks related to organisation and communication. Responsible for confidential and time-sensitive material. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate via phone and email, ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and promptly. May direct and lead the work of others. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Requirements:

  • Proven admin or assistant experience,
  • Proved knowledge of processing visas,
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures,
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work,
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Strong organisational and planning skills,
  • Proficient in MS Office,
  • At least 4 years of experience in the field or a related area, and
  • Bachelor Degree in Management, Human Resource Management or Administration
