JOB ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ANESTHETIST NURSE AS DAILY WORKER

MSF France is a non-profit international organization, belonging to the international movement of Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders), providing assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict. MSF France operates a Pediatric Hospital in Gardnersville area of Monrovia, Liberia following the outbreak of the Ebola epidemic in order to provide medical care to the more vulnerable. Therefore, MSF France is recruiting for the following positions:

PositionANESTHETIST NURSE
Main responsibilitiesAssisting the anesthetist doctor with all anaesthetic medical activities (pre-anesthesia evaluation, administration of anesthesia, recovery period, specific pharmacy, equipment, general organization, etc.) as well as performing defined cases autonomously after training. Induction program of three weeks (full time) will be provided according to MSF policies, protocols and universal hygiene standards, in order to ensure the quality of pre, during and post-operative care of patients.
Requirements
Essential:

· Recognized nursing degree/diploma as an anesthetist nurse is essential. Bachelor in science of nursing an added advantage

· Valid license to work as an anesthetist nurse

· Minimum 1 year of previous supervised work experience as an anesthetist nurse

· Great flexibility and availability for emergency/last minute calls

Desirable:
· 2 years of previous experience with MSF or other NGO’s

· Critical care experience in a paediatric department is an asset
