Reports to: Deputy Commissioner General, Technical Affairs
Supervises: Manager, Supervisor, Senior Officers, and Other Staff.
Overall Objective: To contribute to the provision of Enterprise Design Quality
Assurance & Results technical support services at the LRA.
Main
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for developing policy and operational
direction for the Division.
2. Responsible for managing and overseeing the
operations of the Division.
3. Responsible for the professional and career
development of staff supervised
Main Tasks: R1: Responsible for developing policy an operational
direction for the Division.
1. Developing and ensuring the execution of EDQARD’s
operational plan is aligned with LRA’s goals and objectives.
2. Coordinate the annual planning and budgeting of EDQARD
activities.
3. Coordinate the development of the LRA’s operational
procedures and advice management accordingly.
4. Coordinating the development and management of
documented procedures to support LRA.
R2: Responsible for managing and overseeing the
operations of the Division.
1. Communicating the role of EDQARD to all stakeholders.
2. Identifying risk gaps and developing resolutions to foster positive
results in LRA.
3. Supervise the development of policies relating to institutional Design
& Quality Assurance.
4. Coordinate the development of the internal and external service
standards & SOPs for the LRA.
5. Perform other duties as may be required.
R3. Responsible for the professional and career development of
staff supervised
1. Develop performance plans with set targets, provide regular
feedback and conduct annual performance appraisals on
staff supervised.
2. Develop and implement career development plan for staff
supervised.
3. Ensure adherence to LRA Act, Human Resource policies
and procedures, Professional Ethics and Code of Conduct
and all other related documents.
4. Manage staff performance and conduct in the work place and
serve as mentor and or coach.
