lives of over 560,000 Liberians. BRAC Liberia is looking for competent, dynamic and self-motivated Liberians to fill the
following regular position.
Position: Number of Vacancies: One (1)
Job Title : Audit Officer
Tenure : 1 year (Renewable based on Project and budget)
Salary : Negotiable
Reports to : Head of Internal Audit
Duty Station : BRAC Head Office, Monrovia
Purpose: To fill a vacant position for Audit Assistant.
Key responsibilities:
1. BRAC Safeguarding
a. Read, understand, practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team
members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
b. Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to
do so.
2. Auditing responsibilities
 Conduct audit according to Audit Plan and Audit Programme
 Collect proper information, evidence and documents and keep in working file
 Prepare audit report with findings and identification of Risk, root causes and recommendation.
 Prepare Audit report and submit within scheduled time
 Work on file preparation and preservation as per audit programme
 Conduct induction and exit meetings with management before and after audit.
 Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or the Country Representative.
Knowledge, Skills and competencies:
 The highest levels of integrity, confidentiality and trustworthiness
 Analytical skills
 Management skills
 Demonstrated intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications
 Dependable, able to follow instructions, and able to improve performance through management feedback
 Competent in working in diverse culture.
 Able to work independently

Education and experience:
Education: BBA or Associate degree in Accounting.
Experience: 3 years’ experience in Auditing or related field.
