POSITION : B2B Presales Engineer
REPORTING TO : Sales Manager
DEPARTMENT : Corporate Sales (B2B) Department
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- Manage and monitor pre-sales projects (design, consulting, technological and competitive watch) with business clients as part of their digital transformation.
- For all or part of the B2B portfolio, responsible for highlighting the OLIB value proposition at the technical level on strategic accounts as part of their digital transformation.
- Participate in defining the Revenue Development strategy on strategic accounts.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The incumbent will manage presales projects with customers as part of our digital transformation goal.
More specifically the role will include:
- Contribute to the sales approach by assisting sales teams in qualifying, developing solutions (estimating workloads, deployment methodologies, etc.)
- Contribute to sales and handling of complex business up to their signing in collaboration with the Account Manager
- Participate with sales teams and operations teams in various phases of solution design (Offer Launch Review, Offer Design Review, etc.).
- Participate in drafting responses to calls for tenders and possibly specifications upstream.
- Pre-qualify, mobilize, and coordinate resources needed for studies: external partners, internal resources, etc.
- Design and validate complex or customized proposal corresponding to client needs identified by sales teams.
- Describe and estimate technical proposals and service offerings.
- Build a lasting technical relationship with clients and prospects.
- Identify possible follow-ups for opening to other services with the client.
- Anticipate risks, alert on anomalies, malfunctions, and risks.
- Ensure technical handover to the deployment project manager. • Provide support to Marketing teams in setting up new and/or complex offers. • Participate in drafting various contracts (maintenance, portfolio products, and customized offers).
- Negotiate deadlines, resources with partners/suppliers/the technical direction.
- Provide information to various internal entities in relation to the client.
- Contribute to resolving customer escalations.
- Participate in meetings and working visits with business clients.
- Participate in internal working groups on technological initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
- Degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 3 -5 years of experience in Telecommunication and I.T project management, and Network Architecture
Experience:
- Good Knowledge in project management knowledge
- Good knowledge of telecom techniques, IT network, and their environment
- Good vision of technological evolution
- Good knowledge of designing complex and innovative architectures/solutions integrating Telecom and IT infrastructures
- Good knowledge of Security and Cloud architectures
- Good knowledge of technologies: TCP/IP, MPLS VPN, Ethernet, SIP, NAT/PAT, tunneling , RADIUS/TACACS, GSM, VOIP, SIP
- Good knowledge of LAN, WLAN, WAN architectures
- Good knowledge of Unified Communication and Collaboration services (Messaging, Telephony, Videoconferencing, Call Center, etc.)
- Good knowledge of system infrastructures: Server, Storage, SAN, Virtualization, and associated management tools
