Location : Orange Liberia, Monrovia, Liberia

Department : Marketing and Communications

Reports to : Chief Marketing and Communication Officer

Job Summary:

Orange Liberia invites applications for the role of Brand, Commercial, and CSR Communication Manager. This role encompasses managing our brand identity, driving commercial success through effective communication strategies, and elevating our CSR efforts. A significant part of this position includes overseeing external creative agencies to ensure alignment with our brand vision and objectives. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional adept at multitasking, with a flair for creativity and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand and Commercial Communication:
  • Develop and implement brand and commercial communication strategies to support business goals.
  • Ensure consistency with Orange Liberia’s brand guidelines across all communication channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on developing impactful commercial campaigns.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify brand positioning and commercial opportunities.
  • External Communication and Agency Management:
  • Lead external communications, including media and public relations, and event management.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the company in various settings.
  • Oversee external creative agencies, ensuring their work aligns with our brand standards and communication goals.
  • Produce and distribute high-quality content like press releases, speeches, and presentations.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Communication:
  • Partner with the CSR Director to create communication strategies that highlight our CSR initiatives.
  • Develop narratives to effectively showcase Orange Liberia’s commitment to social responsibility.
  • Enhance the visibility and impact of CSR efforts through strategic communication.
  • Crisis Communication:
  • Formulate and implement crisis communication plans.
  • Coordinate crisis response with the internal team for prompt and effective management.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Manage and mentor a team of communication professionals.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to ensure cohesive and effective messaging.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in brand management, commercial communications, or CSR communication.
  • Proven track record of managing external creative agencies.
  • Strong alignment with brand guidelines and communication strategy execution.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the Liberian media landscape and cultural sensitivities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and networking abilities.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office and digital communication tools.
