Mineke Foundation is an entity established in 2014 and is situated in Gardnerville. The organization is focusing on Women, Adolescent girls’ empowerment; Vocational Trainings, Entrepreneurship, Resource Center program which is an opportunity for interesting students, teachers, youths, adults and visitors.
Mineke Foundation is looking for a business development manager, who will identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. She/he will be involve in strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets and enhancing the operation of the business of our sports materials and products of our Resource Center.
Job Description
Operations
- research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets
- foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
- understand the needs of our customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
- think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
- work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
- have a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about them
- ensure staff are on board throughout the organization, and understand the need for change and what is required of them
- seek ways of improving the way the business operates
- Maintain a current inventory of sports equipment and ensure maintenance of all sporting materials
- Monitor, order, prepare, store, allocate and dispose of a range of related learning resources and sports equipment to ensure security and safekeeping within an approved budget allocation;
- Ensure all issues and returns of resources are correctly processed and properly recorded;
- Work in line with the budget allocation of the enterprise
- Submit monthly report & perform any other assigned task by the Team Coordinator / MF Support Team.
Sales
- create a sales pipeline
- increase sales of the business
- carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to management
- Develop the business sales and marketing strategy.
- help to plan sales campaigns, to promote sporting materials to attract customers
Mini-Library
- Manage the day to day activities of the Resource Centre;
- Provide a comprehensive library and information service to enhance the academic learning environment for students;
- Direct and supervise the work of any volunteer librarians and other staff(s);
Requirements
- University graduate; having qualifications in Business Management and business development will be advantageous
- Have relevant qualification’s and appropriate working experience
