Job description

Our Business Development Specialist who is a tech-savvy, energetic professional who plays a key role in meeting our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for generating new business for the Company and maintaining relationships with its existing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Source new business using innovative and creative marketing practices.
  • Develop prospects and pitches for target clients for increased business growth.
  • Identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Build rapport with both existing and new businesses and ensure continuous improvement of the relationships.
  • Develop and implement creative strategies to drive transactions to Merchants on the TipMe platform
  • Plan and coordinate company events
  • Manage Departmental budget
  • Serve as the point person for business development activities.
  • Produce accurate and informative reports for weekly Commercial meetings, commercial planning, and board meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business related course/ or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in related field
  • Customer service experience
  • Mobile money market knowledge an advantage
