The Khana Group (TKG) is a leading research, evaluation and data collection firm in Liberia that uses
data to inform strategies, programs and policies. TKG also has offices in Ghana, Nigeria and the U.S
and has worked in 18 countries across Africa and expanding.
We are seeking short and long-term Data Collectors (Qualitative and Quantitative), Supervisors and
Quality Control Officers in Liberia for our projects. These projects are being conducted in various
counties in Liberia; field consultants will not be granted consideration with regards to location of field
duties without extenuating circumstances.
Responsibilities
 Conduct quantitative or qualitative interviews using GPS-enabled tablets or mobile phones
 Travel to urban and rural areas to collect data
 Adhere to strict guidelines to ensure quality data is collected
 Work with Project Lead or designate (in any capacity) to coordinate efficient and successful data
collection process, logistics and travel between localities.
Qualifications
 College student (College Graduate Preferred)
 Prior experience using mobile devices such as android devices or Computer-Assisted Personal
Interviewing (CAPI) for data collection
 Prior experience using Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) for data collection
 Experience conducting quantitative surveys and interviews
 Experience conducting qualitative interviews such as FGDs, IDIs and KIIs
 Ability to communicate effectively and understanding of community-based research and
assessment procedure under Standard Operating Procedures.
 Fluency in English (ability to speak in local dialects is an added advantage)
 Familiarity with urban and rural areas in Liberia
 Exceptional reading speaking and writing/notes taking skills (in English)
 Ability to multi-task and detail-oriented
 Possess qualities like dependability, integrity and understanding time effectiveness
 Willingness and ability to travel into the rural areas
