POSITION : Communication Manager
REPORTING TO : Chief Marketing, Strategy and Communication Officer
DEPARTMENT : Marketing and Communications
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Communication Manager co-designs and implements the communication strategy at the company level. He/She is responsible for the Orange Brand and the Brand KPI (top of mind, meaningful, prominence…). He/She is also responsible for all operational activities (commercial, CSR, Brand, Events).
He/She may also be called upon to work on more cross-functional topics, in particular cross-functional positioning of offers, events, digital communication campaigns, cross-functional value proposals.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key responsibilities include:
- Co-design the brand strategy (commercial / CSR / Institutional/Sponsorship)
- Lead the annual communication plan roadmap and the implementation
- Manage the commercial communication (launching, promoting, and using offers for customers throughout their life cycle at Orange)
- In charge of all Orange events organization related to Commercial or Brand Activities
- Responsible for the whole communication channels strategy and implementation (Online / Offline)
- Responsible of managing the communication budget for media buying, and suppliers…
- In charge of the acceleration of Digital Strategy implementation
- In charge of the Brand guidelines respect in collaboration with Orange Group
- Dedicated contact with offline and online creative agencies to ensure the respect of deadlines, brand guidelines respect and Orange Liberia positioning.
- Support Marketing team to provide Marketing/Com brief for offers/products launch
- Contract co-redaction and follow-up with Legal department
- Providing the various reports regarding Orange activities (weekly and monthly)
- Ensuring partnerships and sponsorships relations
- Build the monthly/quarter communication plan in line with the annual plan
- Ensure all media outlets for billboards, newspapers, radios but also goodies
- Develop team skills and autonomy, including: coaching on the job, training plans, and recruitments.
- Delegate by assigning new tasks, coaching and following up on progresses and appropriations.
- Manage the yearly budget with the help of the CMO by following up
Minimum Requirements
Education:
- Master Degree in communication
- A good mix of manager and doer
Experience:
- At least 7 yeas experience in Marketing/Communication domains.
- Two (2) years’ experience in organizational design
