REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO CONTRACT A COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT TO WORK ON MESSAGING, PROGRAM DOCUMENTATION, MEDIA ENGAGEMENT AND UPCOMING COMPAIGNS

Duration: 6 Months (July – December 2024)

1. Background

Established in 2008, BRAC Liberia currently operates social development programmes in Agriculture, Food Security and Livelihood, Education, Ultra-Poor Graduation, Youth Empowerment, Health, and Microfinance. We work in 12 out of 15 counties of Liberia to support the under-served communities.

BRAC Liberia is seeking the services of a consultant to work on messaging, program documentation, media engagement and upcoming campaigns as per the below terms of references.

2. Objective of the Assignment

To appoint a consultant to work on messaging, program documentation, media engagement and upcoming campaigns. The end goal is to increase the overall visibility of BRAC’s work in Liberia in alignment with BRAC’s communications strategy.

3. Scope of the Consultancy (BRAC Offices and projects sites)

NOTE:

1. BRAC Liberia is not bound to contract the least costed proposal.
2. BRAC Liberia reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals submitted after the submission deadline.

4. Key qualifications required

➢ Has 8 years of experience in reporting/content writing/editing especially in the field of development, climate change, DRR etc., in community-based organizations, NGOs and INGOs, academia, research cells or news platforms.

➢ Has 6 years of experience creating/managing content for INGOs/NGOs or news

platforms.

➢ Has a minimum of 6 years of experience and extensive & proven record in campaign and content design and publication especially on socio-economic issues, development,

climate change and extreme poverty reduction.

➢ Expert overall proficiency of English language

5. Submission of Proposal

➢ Interested consultants are requested to submit their detailed proposals, including a curriculum vitae (CV), proposed methodology, work plan, and financial proposal

➢ Your proposal shall be prepared in the English Language.

➢ The envelope must be clearly marked

“COMMUNICATIONCONSULTANCY SERVICES.”

➢ Proposal must be received on or before June 12, 2024 @2:00PM GMT.
