Purpose of Engagement
– As part of our growth and development plan, we are looking to set up our corporate sales unit as an extension of the Sales – Department. The Consultant is responsible for overseeing the overall development of the Corporate Sales Department and setting up and operationalizing the payroll deduction scheme (PDS) in Liberia. The Consultant will work closely with the Country Manager and Senior Management as he/she develops and submits reports in line with the following deliverables:
– Develop the 2023 Corporate Sales Roadmap (which would include development of Power Solutions, Asset Financing, B2B bulk sales, and PDS pilot and full scale operations – with budget and timelines for implementation) in line with the business objectives and goals
– Review the proposed organizational structure for the Corporate Sales Department and develop and design recruitment plans (including but not limited to JDs, guarantor forms, etc)
– Design the standard operating procedures (SOPs) which will be the official guide to the processes involved in the day-to-day operations of Corporate Sales and interactions with various departments ( ie. finance, operations, CC)
– Develop Easy Solar Corporate Sales business proposal to be used to attract partnership with banking, micro-finance, and other institutions
– Lead the development of strong partnership relationships with various banks, institutions and government agencies
Finalize agreement with various private and governmental institutions
– Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
– Experience in and strong working relationships with third party contractors, NGOs, MDAs and government agencies
– Work experience in B2B, Asset Finance and Payroll Deduction Schemes
– Sales and distribution experience in the solar industry would be a plus
– Management accounting techniques, budget and budgetary controls management
– Experience in developing SOPs for sales departments
– Experience in client management and key account management
