Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (2 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
The incumbent is responsible for performing custodial duties within the Mission, its adjacent buildings, and other government own buildings as assigned. Must ensure that the facility is maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner. The incumbent is expected to know and understand the Material Safety Data regarding the safe handling and usage of chemicals used in cleaning and disinfecting areas. The incumbent is expected to know and follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) based practices in handling biohazardous materials.
Minimum of six months of custodial or housekeeping experience is required.
Level 2 (Rudimentary) writing/reading/speaking of English is required. This may be tested.
