DAILY HIRE FOR TECHNICAL SUPERVISION OF EKO ENERGY SOLAR INSTALLATION IN THREE (3) HEALTH FACILITIES IN GRAND BASSA AND RIVERCESS
COUNTIES.
Project Name: Sustainable Solar Energy for Education and Healthcare in Grand Bassa and Rivercess, Rural Liberia
1.BACKGROUND:
The EKO Energy project is a one-year initiative by Concern Worldwide Liberia to solarise key schools and health facilities in Grand Bassa and
Rivercess Counties. These regions are critically underserved by electricity, limiting access to quality healthcare and education. The project aims to install
solar energy systems in 2–3 facilities, directly improving services for over 10,000 people. It includes training, community ownership models, and
maintenance strategies to ensure long-term sustainability. The intervention will enhance education outcomes, maternal and child health, and foster
economic empowerment through access to reliable, sustainable, and cost-effective solar energy. This effort aligns closely with EKO Energy’s mission to
support renewable energy in vulnerable settings.

To provide direct supervision and oversight of the installation of the Solar system in three health facilities in Grand Bassa and Rivercess Counties
undertaken by Concern under EKO ENERGY, through the contractor and ensuring adherence to agreed quality standards. The Consultant will also
monitor the installation activities for compliance with national regulations and agreed milestones and completion timelines.
The Daily hire technician will directly report to the Program Coordinator. The coordinator will, however, share reports or all produced documents with
the Program Director, Operations Director, Area Coordinator and WASH Officer.
The length of the service is expected to be approximately 10 days. This is inclusive of final reporting and handing over the health facility.

Consultants must agree to sign the Concern Code of Conduct and the safeguarding policy prior to their commencement of work.10. Budget
The total budget for the consultants will be negotiated with Concern and the consultants in compliance with Concern rules and regulations for daily hire.
Insurance and medical expenses, including accidents on the job, are not covered by Concern. If other expenses are anticipated, these must be approved
and discussed by Concern in advance. Concern Shall be responsible for transportation and base location is Buchanan.
