Concern Worldwide is an Irish based non-governmental, international, humanitarian organization, dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries. Concern is currently recruiting six interns for the below positions:

Job Title: Data Analysis Intern (x2)

Location: Buchanan, Grand Bassa County

Duration: Six Months

Main duties & responsibilities:

Able to collect, store and use data on Concern Liberia Programme activities to inform discussions and make better decisions; Interpret data, analysing results using statistical techniques that enhance efficiency and quality; Share ideas about how to overcome key challenges facing enumerators and data managers in the programme; Under the supervision of MEAL Coordinator, undertake routine monitoring of programme activities and outputs to facilitate identification of implementation gaps and share reports with M&E Manager and MEAL Coordinator; Submit regularly weekly activity and monthly plans and reports; Contribute to monthly Sit-Rep and quarterly donor reports; Receive a specific training on area relevant to the role

Experience & Qualification:

An undergraduate degree attained within the last two years in a relevant field

Strong interest in use of innovative technology and tools for development cooperation programmes and systems

Strong interest in working in rural areas and sensitivity to the needs of the extreme poor

Willingness to learn and a respectful attitude

Commitment to Concern’s work

Voluntary work undertaken in the past
