POSITION: Data Analyst Partner Liaison
OPEN TO: Liberian with preferably master’s degree in computer science, Statistics or Epidemiology or Public Health with extensive training in statistics.
EXPERIENCE: – Desirable working experience with MSF or other NGOs.
– At least 2 years of experience in Data Management in African contexts.
– Experience in computer systems administration including a very good experience in using the REDCap database management software.
– Previous experience in Lassa Fever research will be an asset.
CLOSING DATE: August 25th, 2024
LOCATION: Based at UNC Phebe Hospital Site, Bong County.
WORK HOURS: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
DURATION: 9 months contract renewable based on projects and fundings
SALARY: 550 USD per month with private health insurance and phone credit.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:
The University of North Carolina (UNC) with its partners in Liberia are collaborating to conduct multiple studies. The studies focus but is not limited on Viral Hemorrhagic Fevers, like Lassa fever and Ebola. These studies examine the incidence, prevalence, and clinical features of various fever-causing pathogens and clinical disease.
The Data Analyst Partner Liaison will work in close collaboration with PHQ (Program HQ) of the Enable study in defining, coordinating and monitoring all data related activities including data collection, analysis, reporting, query resolution, monitoring and evaluation processes according to protocols, standards and procedures in order to ensure quality data collection.
