JOB TITLE: Data Processing Officer
TEAM/PROGRAMME: Project TEAM Liberia
LOCATION: Monrovia

Report to: Project Manager
Employment status and period: based on funds availability.
Data Processing Officers Operate Computers and Other Communications Equipment and
may Perform Data Entry Work as Part of A Larger Data Processing System.
Being a Data Processing Officers Is a very detail-oriented Job Involving Many Repetitive
Duties.
In Addition To Inputting, Organizing, and Cataloging Data, a Data Processing Officer May
Also Be Responsible For Performing Quality Control Checks, Identifying Job Problems,
and Ensuring That Job Orders Are Completed According To Schedule.
DATA PROCESSING OFFICER DUTIES/FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
o Organizes documents; prepares and codes data for entry into computer system.
o Enters data into system via on-line terminals and other data entry devices; verifies for
accuracy and completeness.
o Investigates and reconciles any discrepancies in files.
o Answers phone; screens calls; responds to any inquiries or transfers call to appropriate
office or individual; composes correspondence in response to inquiries.
o Maintains library of any reference material needed to ensure accurate coding.
o Files material into proper location.
o Assists with other work processing or other tasks as needed
Qualification:
o Hold a degree in ICT or Database management
o Strong data analysis skills
o Fast thinker
o Knowledge of Access Database programming, SQL server, Excel Database, Comcare,
CAPI and SPSS
o Must hold at least 3 years’ experience in similar duties
