MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Defines the indirect Sales and distribution strategy and plans in order to:
    • Maintain or win the market/value share leadership of Orange in all the services operated (Telco, MFS, Energy etc.)
    • Reach or exceed the turnover and customer/POS base targets in all the service ranges (Telco, MFS, Energy etc.)
    • Optimize the distribution costs (commissions, workforce, budget, evolution/innovation, digitalization etc.) for EBITDA improvement
  • Implement the plans to develop an effective indirect distribution channel
    • Building successful relationships with key dealers and support them in building their network
    • Ensure permanent availability and promotion of Orange’s services
  • Guarantees the performance of the indirect distribution network and the commercial quality
    • Monitor the KPI’s on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis
    • Organizes review meeting with distributors
    • Regular field visits of our network as far as market intelligence
  • Ensures and support the implementation of OLIB Compliance Program and Tolerance Zero towards corruption including AML/CFT
    requirements as well within the indirect distribution department and network

TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES

  • Defines Orange Liberia and Orange Money Liberia indirect distribution and commercial strategy, in line with the Group and the Cluster Orange Coted’Ivoire strategy
  • Defines the contracting policy with partners, distributors, and wholesalers and ensures the proper execution of the contract
  • Proposes new strategic orientations based on specific studies, market and competition analyses
  • Define the Distributors, Super Agents, and Point of Sales objectives and coordinates the deployment of the indirect distribution network (recruitment
    of Distributors, POS, Agents, Super Agents, new partnerships, etc.)
  • Defines the operational plan for Orange Liberia and Orange Money Liberia indirect distribution network
  • Sets and monitors the achievement of objectives by the indirect distribution network, in line with the Orange Liberia and Orange Money Liberia strategy
  • Ensures that the governance of the distribution contract is respected by all the actors of the indirect distribution network.
  • Sets and monitors the achievement of recruitment objectives for Orange Liberia and Orange Money Liberia distribution network
  • Oversees the prospecting and management of commercial partnerships for both Orange Liberia and Orange Money Liberia
  • Manages sensitive relationships in the context of business partnerships
  • Defines and implements the recruitment strategy for new customers of Orange Liberia and Orange Money Liberia
  • Ensures the proper deployment and animation of all new strategic services and offers such as Orange Energy, IRT, B2B, Micro loans, etc.
  • Ensures a proper and diligent implementation of offers/services/product animation plans in the indirect distribution network
  • Ensures the quality of service to distributors and end customers through a permanent supervision of the GSM and OM activities.
  • Develop, deploy and maintain an aggressive acquisition program to develop the active base and value of OLIB and OM
  • Expand a better structuration of OLIB and OM distribution networks
  • Improve implication of indirect distribution (distributors) in the sales of GSM and mobile money products
  • Expand Orange Liberia and Orange Money footprint by improving reliable PoS/agents/Distributors in Monrovia, as well as in the rural, and ensure
    cash, float, scratch card, etc., availability nationwide.
  • Validates the coverage and decongestion/desaturation needs of fixed, mobile, and internet networks,
  • Validates the budget and the management policy of the equipment and accessories and the commercial administration of the distribution partners
  • Ensures compliance with procedures and regulations for all the activities under your supervision

 

ADMINISTRATIVE/ORGANIZATIONAL ACTIVITIES

  • Lead and coordinate the activities of the distribution team in line with management objectives
  • Ensures the management of the staff under his/her authority and the good working atmosphere
  • Ensures the follow-up of the realization of the projects of its direction
  • Ensure that the rules, procedures, and decisions under his/her responsibility are adopted by the actors concerned
  • Ensures the follow-up of studies and analyses initiated, in relation with internal or external resource persons
  • Ensures the improvement of processes and the management of change
  • Manage relations with the Group and the Cluster in order to benefit from best practices in his/her field of activity
  • Maintain relationships with external partners to ensure proper execution of the contract
  • Organizes the sharing of skills and know-how specific to the field
  • Controls and evaluates the quality and the respect of the objectives of its collaborators
  • Ensures the availability and adequacy of the resources required for proper operation
  • Determines and implements, in collaboration with the HR department, the training and skills development needs of his/her employees
  • Ensures the coaching, training and supervision of teams
  • Defines and evaluates the objectives of the employees under his/her responsibility and ensures the implementation of the management’s objectives
  • Develops and negotiates the budget necessary to achieve the objectives in line with the development objectives set
  • Validates the management chart and proposes areas for improvement in performance indicators
  • Validates the budget of his/her department

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:
Post-graduate degree in Marketing or a MBA.

Experience:

  • Minimum of Ten (10) years of progressively responsible Marketing or Sales and Distribution experience preferably in a multinational Company. Five (5) of those years in a senior management role in Sales and Distribution.
  • Expertise in building, leading, and inspiring teams of high performing professionals
