PREVAIL, or the Partnership for Research on Vaccines and Infectious Diseases in Liberia, is a clinical research partnership between the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Liberian Ministry of Health.
Summary of Position:
The Disbursement Administrator is responsible for providing financial support to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial operations at the Research Site. The Disbursement Administrator is responsible for providing financial and basic administrative and clerical services applicable to this position. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures, processing and monitoring receipts and preparing and monitoring the disbursement system. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that Project and Study specific disbursements are accurate and up to date; that study participants are provided their allowance for inconvenience and transportation and other applicable disbursement in a timely and appropriate manner.
Description of Responsibilities:
 Maintain disbursement information for all studies and/or projects.
 Ensure financial transactions are conducted in accordance with the financial policies and procedures of PREVAIL.
 Request cash, disburse renumeration to Study Participants during Study visits and submit weekly/monthly reports to management.
 Prepare monthly disbursement projections for Study Participants in consultation with the Site Manager.
 Verify and submit invoices to the Finance Office for Payment.
 Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
 Education: High School diploma required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or bookkeeping or relevant field preferred.
 Preferred Job-related Experience: At least one (1) year of relevant experience required.
