About PREVAIL:
PREVAIL, or the Partnership for Research on Vaccines and Infectious Diseases in Liberia, is a clinical research partnership between the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Liberian Ministry of Health.
Summary of Position:
The Distribution Coordinator will oversee the delivery of inventory to clinical sites and the central office along with supporting other logistics and supply chain activities.
Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Description of Responsibilities:
Coordinates with project site management (Site Manager and Project Management Assistant) to ensure that stock levels are sufficient for each site.
Conducts supply needs assessments at project sites and submits report to the Logistics and Supply Chain Manager.
Conducts a monthly tally sheet report of supplies distributed to all sites and submit to the Inventory Control Officer for reconciliation.
Supports the Logistician in receiving international shipment and process Laboratory and Pharmacy perishable supplies to include reading of temp-ale data and storage at various freezing points ( -80C֯,
-20C֯ and 2 -8֯C).
Supports the Logistician with the management of fleet which include project staff daily transportation, daily hires, and vehicle/truck rentals to manage warehouse outflow shipments.
Supports the Warehouse and Receiving Coordinator in conducting stock levels count at the warehouse to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
Participates in after-hours emergency response.
Participates in process improvement activities.
Maintains safe work environment.
Reports to work on time and performs all daily functions.
Follows standard operating procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills:
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
• Experience in inbound and outbound logistics and supply chain.
• Familiarity with cold-chain maintenance and procedures.

• Ability to work with spreadsheets and inventory management software.
• Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
• Excellent oral and written communication/reporting skills.
Qualifications:
Education: HS diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor degree is an added advantage.
Preferred Job-related Experience: Three to five (3-5) years of progressively responsible experience including three (3) years as a Logistician or equivalent level.
