Driver – FLEGT Facilitation Liberia office
Duties:
• Drive project vehicles as scheduled, ensuring timely transport of designated persons
• Ensure maintenance and proper project vehicle operation for Monrovia and field-based trips
• Serve as messenger as needed
• Clean the project vehicle daily
• Fuel vehicle and ensure that receipts are provided for funds spent
• Immediately report involvement of vehicle in any accidents, any damage or theft of anything
from vehicle
• Report necessary repairs or other need for maintenance in a timely manner
Requirements:
• High School Diploma and licensed driver
• 5 years or more work experience in a similar position within an international development
project would be an added advantage
• Understanding of the mechanics of vehicles would be an advantage
• Demonstrated knowledge of Liberian road networks, driving codes and regulations
• Flexibility for overtime driving and /or long-distance driving as required
