Concern Worldwide is a non-governmental organization, devoted to helping people living in extreme poverty achieve major
improvements in their lives, which lasts and spread without ongoing support. Concern is currently recruiting the below post:
Job Title: Enumerators (10)
Location: Grand Bassa & Rivercess
Reporting To: M&E Manager/Officer
Responsible For: N/A
Responsibilities & Key Roles
– Attend data collection training provided by Concern in the use of data collection tools
– Conduct the minimum of interviews stipulated per day in the individual contract (number varying, depending on the type of survey, length of questionnaire,
etc.)
– Use the data collection tool as instructed to carry out the duties; follow provided instructions for selection of respondents
– Conducting role play/model surveys through the training
– Conduct collection process according to the framework as stipulated by Concern
– Take full responsibility of Concern assets assigned, including charging of Digital Data Gathering devices each evening
– Report any problems or issues encountered in the field immediately to the supervisor during data collection
– Show commitment on conducting the survey and fairly communicate with respondents
Experience & Qualification
– At least 1 year of university education
– Excellent interpersonal skills
– Excellent English communication skills
– Excellent attention to detail
– Punctuality
– Computer literacy
NOTE: Knowledge of Bassa, Vai Kpelle or other local language is highly desirable previous experience in data gathering (both quantitative and qualitative) is
highly desirable
