Job Title: Enumerators (x20)

Location: Grand Bassa & Rivercess Counties

Reporting To: MEAL Advisor

Responsible For: N/A

Job Purpose: To support the MEAL team in collaboration with programme staff to collects quantitative and qualitative data on programme implementation, including a baseline, end line, special assessment which required the hiring of external enumerators to complete task over the years of the programme.

Main Responsibilities & Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills are required for establishing rapport with respondents and creating a comfortable environment for information sharing. Enumerators should be empathetic, respectful, and able to adapt their communication style to different individuals, enumerators must pay close attention to detail to ensure accurate data collection; good organizational skills are crucial for enumerators to manage their time effectively, meet targets or deadlines, and handle administrative tasks related to data collection, such as organizing and submitting completed surveys or forms; proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry, and familiarity with electronic survey tools or software; Enumerators will be required to uphold ethical standards and maintain strict confidentiality regarding the information shared by respondents. They should be trustworthy and follow established protocols to ensure data privacy and protection; enumerators will work in various settings, including households, communities, or workplaces; enumerators should demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and customs; enumeration assignments may involve extensive travel, working in remote areas, or conducting interviews for extended periods. Enumerators should have the physical stamina to handle the demands of the job; 1 year + in data collection for busy NGOs using modern tools.

Experience & Qualification:

A minimum of diploma in community development, social sciences or related field, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is an additional advantage. Excellent English communication skills and computer literacy

Fluency in the local language or dialect is essential

Excellent attention to detail and Punctuality
