VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Living Water International (LWI), headquartered in Houston, Texas – USA, is global
Christian non-governmental organization that exists to demonstrate the love of God by
helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water and to experience “Living
Water,” the gospel of Jesus Christ which alone satisfies the deepest thirst. LWI programs
are clustered into three key sectors mainly, water access, hygiene & sanitation promotion,
and Church & Community engagement. Since its inception in 1990, Living Water has seen
incredible growth in its over 32-years history. The organization has maintained active
operationsin 21 countries across Africa, India, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Living Water is involved in designing and constructing simple and larger, piped water systems
utilizing groundwater development (boreholes), gravity flow systems, solar power, surface
water abstraction, rainwater harvesting, and a variety of other technologies. Living Water
has completed over 21,000 community water projects including various water access
technologies, Sanitation and Hygiene training, and community mobilization through existing
local institutions.
The following position has become available at Living Water International for Liberian
nationals only.

POSITION: EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE COUNTRY DIRECTOR
The preferred candidate will be required to:

A. Administration Roles
• Manage the Country Director’s office diary, appointments and administration;
• Review documents for the Country Director’s approval;
• Coordinate all aspects of Senior Management Team (SMT) meetings including planning,
logistics and meetings’ cycle.
• Research and assist the Country Director with the preparation of various documents, reports, and power point presentations.

Relationship management with the senior management team, coordinators, partners and
team members;
• Take notes/minutes of the senior management and general management meetings.
• Where necessary, represent the Country Director in external meetings.
• Communicate to the staff regarding the decisions taken in the management meetings for action.
• Organize special events and meetings.
• Lead and manage end-to-end travel planning.
• Branding and awareness for the office as well as for the program team events e.g World
Water day, World Toilet day, NGO week etc.Develops sound, cost effective strategies
for the purchasing of materials and assisting with developing bid specifications.

B. Program Management
• Follow up on departmental monthly reports, consolidate and produce a field related report.
• Prepare and submit monthly/ quarterly, and project specific reports.
• Participate in rapid/filed needs assessment including baselines, mid and end line
evaluations.
• Ensuring quality and integrity of implementation of WASH projects, including adherence
to technical guidelines, administrative systems, and established deadlines.
• Representing the organization externally in Water, sanitation and hygiene and church
related forums/meetings.
• Work with the Country M&E Officer/Manager to compare planned vs actual all variances
(CCM, S&H )in the Country Office and advise the Country Director on the same.
• Support with salesforce management including monthly reviews and trainings of country
office staff as necessary.

C. Grants Management
• Overall supporter to the Country Director on Grants management including working
closely with Regional Program Officer -Grants and Grants Ambassador.
• Identify, evaluate, and advise on potential fundraising opportunities.
• Support in project cycle related to PGR (Identification, design, implementation, M&E and
close) as well as the alignment to Overflow 25 at country level.
• Maintain information data base on potential project opportunities, project proposals,
tracking and ongoing project implementation.
• Develop WASH and related proposals for funding (GPM development)
• Contribute to the preparation of internal and external reports for the NGO, donors and
partners.
• Promoting and reinforcing relationships with stakeholders through organizing special
events and meetings.
• Attend donor meeting with the country director (take minutes and note the action items)

The preferred candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• Degree in a Business or Managerial related field – Business Administration/
International Development or the equivalent. An advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in an INGO setting.
• Experience as an Executive Assistant or a similar position.
• Proficient in report writing, self-directed, and reliable.
• Ability to work well in a diverse team.
• Thorough understanding and experience in Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively.
• Highly proficient in English – both reading and writing, with excellent communication
and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
