Position Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Position End Date: Open

Duty Station: Spriggs-Payne Hangar, Liberia
Reports To: MAS Liberia – Director of Maintenance
Job Summary
This position is responsible for the overall maintenance and repair activities of MAS Liberia hangar facilities. In addition
to these responsibilities, will also be assigned aviation lineman duties.
Key Responsibilities
▪ Oversee and perform construction related maintenance and repair activities at the hangar, or any other MAS sites as
specified.
▪ Responsible for the hangar site maintenance, including but not limited to; landscaping, roadway and taxiway upkeep,
water drainage systems, painting interior and exterior, lighting maintenance, and all related utilities.
▪ Perform procurement and purchasing functions for the MAS hangar and other MAS projects.
• Perform various housekeeping duties, included but not limited to; dusting and cleaning all open surfaces, bathroom
cleaning, coffee and dishes cleaning.
▪ Ensure all related tools and support equipment are kept in good working order, organized properly, and used
correctly.
▪ Assist in creating and modifying hangar project budgets and material forecasting;
▪ Monitor the progress of contractors in order to verify quality of the task, and determine suitability for future work;
▪ Understand the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures, ensuring any contractors or staff adhere
to them at all times;
▪ Make a deliberate effort to become proficient in working around MAS aircraft, supporting and working with the line
crew, as directed by the MAS Liberia Director of Maintenance
▪ Any other job assigned by the Director of Maintenance
Education / Experience/ Skills Needed
▪ Minimum of a High School diploma;
▪ Prefer a minimum 2 years of experience working in the civil construction industry;
▪ A strong understanding and working knowledge of Health and Safety practices;
▪ Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
▪ Prefer holding a current driver’s license
▪ Have strong communication, planning and organizational skills;
▪ Have the ability to apply a deductive approach when maintaining productivity and cost effectiveness;
▪ A strong commitment to Christ.
