CRS Liberia is announcing its maiden Female MEAL Internship Programme. This program is a two-pronged attempt at increasing MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) professionals in the development sector in Liberia, and the empowerment of women in the MEAL profession.
Two outstanding female graduates in Economics, Mathematics, Measurement, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research Methodology, Statistics, Social Research, or relevant equivalent will be selected for the program.
Interested applicants should be FEMALE and have a reasonable mix of the following criteria.
1. Liberian National.
2. Undergraduate/Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Research Methodology, Statistics, Social Research, or relevant equivalent degree, with coursework in quantitative and/or qualitative research methods.
3. Should have graduated not more than 1 year from the time of application, with a graduating grade point average of 3.00 or better.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write reports.
5. Basic skills in data collection, analysis, visualization, and interpretation.
6. Fast learner, self-starter, resourceful, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced professional working environment.
7. Experience using MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
8. Punctual, reliable, and committed to learning and self-improvement.
Applicants meeting the above criteria should submit the following:
• Current CV/Resume.
• Copy of graduating transcript showing Final Grade Point Average (FGPA).
• A 600 words motivation letter detailing why you should be selected for the FeMEAL program.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to sit a written and computer skills test. Applicants who are shortlisted from the test will be invited for interviews and will be required to submit two (2) letters of recommendation- academic and professional/character.
