SUMMARY OF POSITION
PSI has been proposed by Liberia Coordination Mechanism (LCM) to continue serving as co PR
for the HIV grant for the period of 2018 to 2020. PSI in this phase will continue to implement
interventions with key populations and PLHIV. The focus of the interventions for key populations
will include but not be limited to Behavior Change Communication (BCC), HIV testing, develop
Drop-in Centers, promote correct and consistent condom use, promotes treatment for STI. For
PLHIV, the program will continue to ensure that PLHIV continue to be on treatment, newly
diagnosed cases are registered for care and treatment program, ensue reduction of cases at risk
of Lost to follow up (LTFU), and continue to advocate for reduction of stigma and discrimination
towards PLHIV.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Field Supervisors will provide overall supervision and support to peer educators
• Field Supervisors will liaise with health professionals and other staff at Integrated Health
Facilities (IHF) and Drop in Centers (DIC).

• Ensure that all PEs reporting to them are trained as per protocol.
• Ensure that all PEs implement the program as per guidelines or SOP as made available.
Ensure that all activities are implemented with sufficient quality.
• Ensure that each PE reports regularly as per guidelines and in the format provided.
• Coordinate with County Health Teams (CHT) as required and attend the monthly health
sector coordination meetings with CHT.
• Coordinate with the drop-in-center and the integrated health facility on a regular basis.
• Support M&E team in data verification as required.
• Take charge and protect PSI assets in the field from damage or loss.
• Ensure that free distribution of condoms and condom compatible lubricants is made
available without any stock outs and are adequately distributed through peer educators
• Carry out any other duties or tasks assigned by the manager as required.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATION:
• 3+ years’ experience in event management
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Experience in key populations and PLHIV program activities
• Experience in field level implementation, including supervision
• Excellent writing and speaking skills
• Ability to coordinate with local partners
• Experience in mentorship
• Experience in social mobilization and community entry
• Excellent problem solving and prioritizing skills
• MUST be able to ride a motorcycle and possess a valid driver’s license.
