About Rebuild Africa Inc.

Lack of access to even the most basic form of education in Liberia denies a significant number of children, especially girls, the opportunity of living a full and meaningful life. So, working with partners, Rebuild Africa brings quality K-12 education to youths in poor and remote communities to help them break the cycle of perpetual poverty.

Many of these children are typically out of school, and those who do attend lack the most basic reading and math skills. They start school late, and only a few will ever finish high schools. Moreover, the schools they attend lack the required books and learning materials and have fewer classrooms. Their teachers have little or no training and attend school irregularly.

Rebuild Africa (RA) addresses these challenges by focusing on six priority areas.

  1. We help children to read, write, and develop social skills for school and life.
  2. We give over-age and out-of-school children a second chance to reboot their education through our remedial second chance program.
  3. We run strong reading, math, and science programs in our primary schools.
  4. We prepare our students for the world of work and college.
  5. We train teachers and provide teaching materials; and
  6. We build classrooms.
