Background
Latter Day Saints Charities (LDSC) has invited CRS to submit a proposal to address the global critical nutrition needs of adolescent girls and young women, with an emphasis on a multi-regional perspective and incorporating a significant goods delivery component. In response, CRS is designing a five-year program across seven countries including Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, Liberia, India, Timor Leste, and Guatemala. NCHC will work with CRS on this project.
Roles and Key Responsibilities:
- Review any supporting documentation of financial transactions to ensure all required documents are accurate and complete.
- Help ensure maintenance of all data required for processing financial transactions for assigned accounts in the NCHC financial accounting package.
- Record delegated financial transactions following appropriate authorizations. Review various accounts to detect irregularities.
- Help evaluate NCHC financial management processes in accordance with policy and help strengthen the capacity of staff in financial accounting and transactions.
- Prepare delegated financial reports, as needed.
- Prepare and process payroll.
- Help share information with staff on financial accounting policies and procedural compliance issues.
Basic Qualifications
- A. degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration strongly preferred.
- Minimum of two years accounting experience, preferably with an international or local NGO, or a financial/banking institution.
Required Language: Strong written and spoken English.
Travel – include a percentage of required travel, if applicable. Could be stated as Must be willing and able to travel up to 30 %.

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the relevant public donors’ regulations is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel and experience with Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of financial accounting reporting software is a plus.
