Job Summary
The Finance Manager will provide overall financial leadership and strategic direction. The position is responsible for ensuring effective financial management systems, cost control, budgeting, cash flow management, and statutory compliance for a combined workforce of not less than 100 direct and indirect staff. The finance manager will work closely with production, operations, and sales teams. Job description also includes analyzing financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making through forecasting and risk analysis, analyzing and reporting on operational costs, setting standard cost for products and services, and recommending changes to improve profitability and efficiency. Key responsibilities involve turning financial data into actionable insights for senior management, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Duties and Essential Job Functions
1 Financial reporting:

1.1. Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

 

  • Strategic and cross-divisional support:

  • Advice the CEO and senior management on financial implications of production and expansion
  • Support investment planning, including equipment acquisition and capacity
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to evaluate pricing strategies and their impact on

 

6 Team Leadership and Capacity Development:

  • Supervise, mentor, and build the capacity of finance and accounting staff in all
  • Introduce automation and digitization of financial systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance-driven financial

 

7 Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s Degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance management within manufacturing, production, or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven experience in cost accounting, inventory management, and multi-unit financial
  • Strong understanding of Liberian tax laws, statutory compliance, and audit
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho, Quickbooks or Tally).

Key Deliverables
· Weekly management and performance reports for both divisions.

· Quarterly financial dashboards and variance analysis
