Pay Grade: General security guard officers (Grade 2) 30 Persons

Position Overall Objective
The General Security Guard Officer will provide professional manned guarding services to protect people, property, and operations at assigned posts. The officer will support access control, patrol, surveillance monitoring (where assigned), incident response, and accurate reporting, in line with Cashimee post orders, SOPs, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
1) Access Control, Screening, and Visitor Management
- Control entry/exit points and enforce post instructions for authorized access only.
- Verify identification for staff, contractors, and visitors; issue/validate visitor approvals as required.
- Conduct security screening as assigned (e.g., bag checks, metal detector checks, vehicle checks, and perimeter gate procedures).
- Prevent unauthorized entry, tailgating, and suspicious access attempts; escalate per chain-of-command.
2) Protection of People, Assets, and Facilities
- Guard assigned premises, equipment, sensitive operational zones, and restricted areas in accordance with post orders and client SOPs.
- Maintain a visible deterrent posture while providing respectful, service-oriented engagement with staff and visitors.
- Support security coverage during sensitive activities on premises when assigned (e.g., high-value handling/loading/unloading at facilities).
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client operations, security procedures, and sensitive information.
3) Patrol, Observation, and Surveillance
- Conduct regular foot patrols and/or static post checks to deter threats and detect irregularities.
- Perform perimeter checks and confirm the integrity of doors, gates, barriers, fencing, lighting, and other protective measures.
- Where assigned, monitor CCTV/alarm activity and report unusual behaviors, safety hazards, or security anomalies immediately.
4) Incident Response, Emergency Action, and Escalation
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and incidents; apply de-escalation and controlled containment consistent with SOPs and lawful standards.
- Execute emergency procedures as trained (evacuation support, fire response, initial scene safety actions, and coordination with supervisors).
- Notify supervision and, when instructed, coordinate with relevant authorities through approved escalation channels.
- Preserve evidence and maintain professional “scene discipline” (do not contaminate evidence; record key details; follow reporting timelines).
5) Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date: occurrence logbooks, visitor registers, patrol records, incident reports, and shift handover notes.
- Report suspicious behavior, breaches, hazards, or threats immediately through approved communication channels (radio/phone) and document actions taken.
- Submit required daily/weekly/monthly inputs as directed by site supervision.
6) Professional Standards, Ethics, and Conduct
- Adhere to Cashimee’s professional conduct expectations, including strict compliance with lawful instructions, confidentiality, and respectful public interaction.
- Maintain a zero-tolerance posture for misconduct (including harassment, bribery, and abuse), and follow reporting pathways for any observed violations.
- Uphold safety discipline and integrate security with HSE expectations at post (safe work practices, hazard awareness, and incident logging).
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- High School Graduate with WASSCE certificate (required). (Bachelor’s degree is an advantage.)
- Medical report from a recognized medical facility in Liberia (required).
- Police clearance and ability to pass background/reference checks (required).
- Proven ability to read and write clearly in English (incident reporting, logbooks, visitor registers).
- Willingness to work 24/7 shift rotations (day/night), including weekends and holidays, as operations require.
Experience and Skills Profile
Required Experience
- Minimum 4 years of relevant security guarding experience (static post, access control, patrol, or similar).
Core Skills and Competencies
- Strong situational awareness and threat recognition (ability to detect anomalies early).
- Professional communication and customer service (calm, respectful engagement under pressure).
- Basic competence with radios/phones and disciplined communications.
- Ability to follow SOPs, post orders, and escalation procedures with consistency and accountability.
- Strong integrity, confidentiality, punctuality, and reliability.
Added Advantage
- Prior experience supporting CCTV monitoring, facility access control systems, or structured incident reporting.
- Training/awareness in emergency response, conflict resolution, or first aid (or willingness to complete training as assigned).
Working Conditions
- Extended standing/walking during patrols and gate duty; exposure to outdoor weather conditions depending on post.
- Work is performed under supervision and requires strict adherence to post orders, SOPs, and confidentiality expectations.
