Conex Energy Liberia is and subsidiary of the Conex Group and is the market leader in the Marketing and
Distribution of Petroleum and allied products in Liberia and has 33 state-of-the-art service stations across the 16
counties of Liberia.

Conex Energy Liberia, have a vacancy in its Sales & Marketing Department and seeks to recruit competent,
hardworking, and committed candidate as General Trade Executive. The position reports to the General Trade
Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The job holder is directly responsible for sales and commercial development of sectors within the General Trade
channel within the Marketing and Sales division to achieve the Company’s objectives. Among the key focus
areas are:
✓ Develop fuel, special products, and monitor sales of each customer with respect to the budget.
✓ Prospect for potential customers and negotiate contracts; assess and report on any development or new
project with existing clients or new prospects.
✓ Control the terms and conditions of sales as specified in the sales agreement, including credit limits and
terms of payment.
✓ Assist and provide technical assistance to customers and ensure customers are happy with services
rendered.
✓ Improve customers’ loyalty by frequent visits, identify their needs, and act accordingly.
✓ Undertake periodic market surveys, at least twice a year, of the business and propose an action plan for
improvement.
✓ Participate in any marketing activity that improves the sales and profitability of the company
✓ Prepare regular visit reports for the Line Manager’s review.
✓ Propose actions to improve market share and a good level of margin. Provide regular, reliable
information on the market and competition
✓ Responsible for business development in terms of sales, profitability, days of sales, outstanding, and
business relations for Corporate and Industrial Customers.
✓ Contribute to the implementation and the respect of HSEQ rules and commitments – Ensures team
respect for code of conduct and of safety rules (assessment of GT and customers’ safety)

Accountabilities:
✓ Implementation of Group HSEQ standards and procedures
✓ Achievement of objectives of Sales volume and GMVE.
✓ Increase Sales volume
✓ Increase business profitability
✓ Ensuring high-grade Customer service
✓ Control of Credit limit and payment terms
✓ Reduce as much as possible the lead time between customer order and payment.

Qualifications / Experience Required:
✓ A holder of a first degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Economics from a recognized
University.
✓ Must exhibit high integrity and honesty in the performance of his function.
✓ Must be able to communicate effectively with clients.
✓ Good marketing skills and persuasive ability.
✓ Knowledge of computer application software (word processing, spreadsheet, systems, SAP by design).
✓ Excellent in anticipation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
