Concern Worldwide is an Irish based non-governmental, international, humanitarian organization, dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries. Concern is currently recruiting six interns for the below positions:

Job Title: Grant & Communication Intern (x1)

Location: Buchanan, Grand Bassa County

Duration: Six Months

Main duties & responsibilities:

Write, design, and support the production of creative and compelling communication and knowledge capitalisation material –stories, photos, videos, fact sheets, brochures, etc. for various audiences, including public and private donors, local and national governments, implementing partners, media, and others as needed; Support the PD to monitor grant reporting timeline and liaise with program coordinators to meet reporting deadline; Assist with analysis of successes and failures

and dissemination of lessons learned for all proposals; Assist in developing analytical reports for internal and external use, including portfolio trends and growth; Support proposal coordination and documentation; Provide administrative support to the proposal development team including organizing design workshops etc.

Experience & Qualification:

∙ An undergraduate degree attained within the last two years in a relevant field

∙ Strong interest in use of innovative technology and tools for development cooperation programmes and systems

∙ Strong interest in working in rural areas and sensitivity to the needs of the extreme poor

∙ Willingness to learn and a respectful attitude

∙ Commitment to Concern’s work

∙ Voluntary work undertaken in the past
