Position: Group Accountant
Reporting to: Finance Director

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
Working in the Finance Department under the direction of the Finance Director, the Group Accountant will handle diversified businesses and manage various financial tasks such as budgeting, reporting, audits, and compliance across different sectors. The staff person will assist the institution’s financial operations to achieve growth, profit, and operational efficiency.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks accounting software.
- Manage accounts receivable, payables, and payroll processes.
- Accurately and promptly prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements and submit them to stakeholders including the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL).
- Monitor and record revenue from all subsidiaries.
- Assist in preparing budgets and analyze variances between actuals and budgets.
- Maintain compliance with the financial reporting standards.
- Assists with audits by providing necessary documentation and information
- Track and reconcile beverage inventory.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations including vat, corporate income tax and payroll taxes
Qualification/Requirement
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Strong ability to analyze financial data, and manage multiple business streams, and prioritize tasks effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting finance or related field with at least 3-5 years of accounting experience preferably in a company with diversified operations
- Prior experience with QuickBooks and inventory management systems is highly desirable
- A demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
