Location: Monrovia, Montserrado County
Reporting To: HR/Admin Supervisor
Contract duration: Fixed Term (12 months)
Role Requirement: The holder of the post will ensure that the Monrovia’s office is kept clean at all times and report any repairs in a timely manner.

Job Purpose: The purpose of this position is to provide efficient and effective cleaning supports to the Head Office and assist in minor repairs of office furniture
Responsibilities:
∙ Responsible for cleaning all bathrooms and ensuring that they are disinfected on a daily basis;
∙ Ensure that kitchen items are clean and kitchen is tidy on a daily basis;
∙ Ensure that bedrooms are swept and kept tidy on a daily basis;
∙ Cleaning of the water dispenser on a weekly basis;
∙ Make timely request to HR/ Admin Supervisor for cleaning materials (cleaning detergents, floor mob, cleaning gloves, etc.) ∙ Wash floors twice a week and windows on a weekly basis;
∙ Dust office walls at least once per month;
∙ Monitor the microwave – ensure that it is ready for used at all time and report to the HR/ Admin Supervisor when there is issues; ∙ Boil water for tea serving and ensured the water bottles are cleaned and full at all times;
∙ Bring any maintenance problems to the immediate attention of your line manager, including misplaced or broken items, bathroom repairs, office furniture repairs, etc.
∙ Monitor the work of non-Concern staff (carpenters, plumbers, electricians etc) whilst they are in the office on a service duty; ∙ Keep an up to date inventory of kitchen assets in the office (cooking utensils, tea pack, coffee, sugar, spoons, plates, etc.) and make timely request for replenishment;
∙ Perform minor/simple repairs on household items such as commode, kitchen sink when necessary;
∙ Bring to the immediate attention of HR/ Admin Supervisor for purchase on household supplies to maintain adequate levels; ∙ Wash dishes and clean kitchen according to hygiene standards;
∙ Run deep cleaning on offices bathroom and ensure that all bathrooms are stock with toiletries items;
∙ Run office errands when required;
∙ Keep corridors and stairways clean and dry at all times;
∙ Assist with setting up of office when required by line manager;
∙ Respond to calls for housekeeping problems;
∙ Adhere to Concern’s safety and security procedures at all times;
∙ Report any safety hazards immediately to line manager;
∙ Perform cover up duties to Concern approved guest houses for cleaner
∙ Be ready to respond to emergency call when required
Experience & Qualification:
∙ At least high school graduate;
∙ Proven experience in office cleaning service with an NGO or reputable institutions
∙ Able to work in a fast paced environment; repair knowledge of household equipment (commode, sink faucet, sewage line, office furniture repairs, etc.).
∙ Be willing to work during extra hours; Attention to details.
∙ This role will suit a “people” person with good communication skills who is able to interact with all levels of staff.
