About the Role

The HR & Administration Manager is responsible for the people and administrative systems supporting DBT Group Ltd. and its operating businesses, ensuring consistent HR practice, reliable employee administration, and effective workplace support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and employee exits against approved staffing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, contracts, job descriptions, leave, attendance, compensation changes, and other personnel documentation.
  • Administer Group HR policies and advise management on employee relations, grievances, conduct, disciplinary matters, and other workplace issues through fair and documented processes.
  • Coordinate probation and performance-management cycles, including objective setting, periodic reviews, performance-improvement actions, and management follow-through.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs with Finance, including new hires, salary changes, allowances, deductions, leave, and exits, ensuring approved HR records agree with payroll instructions.
  • Identify capability gaps, coordinate training and employee development, maintain training records, and support succession planning for critical roles.
  • Manage Group administration, including office services, supplies, vendors, travel, records, and office assets, and report key HR metrics and issues to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field, with at least 5-7 years of progressive HR and administration experience.
  • Strong practical knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, HR policies, employment documentation, and Liberian labour requirements.
  • Strong judgement, confidentiality, organisation, communication, record keeping, and stakeholdermanagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple business units.
