Mutual Benefits Assurance Company (Liberia) is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager with legal knowledge to join its dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, compensation and benefits, training and development and performance management.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. A legal degree or certification is an added advantage
A minimum of five years of experience in HR management with a focus on legal compliance
Excellent knowledge of Liberian Labor laws, regulations, and policies
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR strategies and initiatives that align with business objectives
Experience in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suites
Experience in working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the company’s objectives
Ensure compliance with the Liberian Labor laws, regulations, and policies
Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions
Develop and implement effective recruitment and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues
Manage compensation and benefits programs and ensure that they are competitive and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Coordinate and deliver training and development programs for employees and managers
Analyze HR data and metrics to develop insights and recommendations for improving HR performance and efficiency
Partner with other departments to develop and implement cross-functional initiatives that support organizational goals
Stay up-to-date on trends and best practices in HR management and legal compliance
