JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Monrovia Breweries Inc. is seeking qualified candidate for a position as Human
Resources Administrator for its Human Resource Department of the Breweries.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Vacancy Title: Human Resources Administrator
Vacancy Type: 1-year renewable
Location: Bushrod Island
Report: Human Resource Manager
Payment: Monthly
DUTIES AND RESPONISBILITIES:
 Provide leadership for subordinate HR team members and ensure that
Department’s objectives are achieved.
 Assist with the recruitment, of candidates, including evaluating and screening of
applications, preparing candidates’ profile, short-listing candidates, supervising
employment tests and serving on interviewing panel.
 Ensure that all employees have a full induction.
 Participate in the preparation of job description and employment contracts.
 Facilitate annual documented performance review for employees by their line
Managers, as well as performance management.
 Assist with compensation (wage, salary, and fringe benefit) administration; conduct
annual compensation and cost-of-living surveys.
 Compile semi-annual statistical reports concerning personnel hires, transfers,
promotions, training, vacation, absenteeism, tardiness, suspension, warning and
turnover.
 Foster and promote employee and union / management relations and the tripartite
relationship; handle grievances, settle disputes; serve on the grievance committee.
 Assist with labor matters and ensure corporate compliance with the Decent Work
Act.
 Participate in Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations and the administration
of the CBA.
 Serve on the Occupational Health and Safety committee.
 In keeping with statutory reporting requirements, prepare all administrative report:
labor statistic, semi-annual report for LIS, MOL, etc.
 Proxy for manager at meetings and occasions.
 Perform any other related duties as required.
Required Knowledge and experience:
A minimum of BSC degree public Administration / HR management
At least 5 years relevant experience.
Must be computer literate and have good knowledge of managerial skills.

 Punctuality, reliability and thoroughness.
 Good interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a team.
 A self-starter, ability to take initiative and responsibilities; work long hours.
 Leadership skills.
