Monrovia Breweries Inc. is looking for a talented Human Resources Manager to join the Management team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide leadership for subordinate HR team members and ensure that Department’s objectives are achieved.
Assist in recruiting candidates for employment, including evaluating and screening applications, preparing candidates profile, short-listing candidates, supervising employment tests, and serving on interviewing panels.
Perform orientation of all new employees and recommend improvement processes for all human resource activities, and manage all communications with managers, and supervisors according to company’s policies and procedures.
Design and monitor all programs and ensure maintenance of all health procedures and assist to identify appropriate programs for staff to achieve the company’s objectives.
Administer all HR activities and maintain professional relationships with all managers, supervisors, and team members to ensure resolution of all HR issues and evaluate all annual performance of staff. Supervise efficient working schedules for staff and provide required human resources support for all activities.
Manage all sensitive issues and perform investigation on all such cases and provide prompt responses to same and maintain knowledge on all trends and development for the human resource team in line with labor law and company policy. Handle employee/union-management relations and the tripartite relationship: handle grievances and settle disputes, and serve on the grievance committee.
Coordinate all legal cases within the company, handled by our lawyer.
Conducting audits, as required.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS (Education, Training, Experience, Skills)
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in HR management, degree or training in labor law or labor relations
At least five (5) years of relevant work experience in an HR or industrial/labor relations position in a large Unionized company
Strong leadership skills. Can serve as a role model.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and negotiation
Extrovert and diplomatic
Ability to handle complex tasks, resourceful, creative, and innovative
Strong commitment to corporate goals
Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
A self-starter with, the ability to take initiative and responsibilities
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in an international team
