Role Purpose Statement: The job incumbent is responsible to carry out inspections and training in IVS area. He/she will assist the Project Manager with other tasks that may deem necessary. He / She usually carries out his / her task independently, with minimum supervision.He / She performs the job in the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, the Code of Ethics and the BV Group policies.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Safely carry out inspections and training in Industrial Voltage Stabilizer (IVS) area
  • Perform all inspections and training in accordance with Bureau Veritas (BV) Procedures
  • Prepare reports/Certificate and submit to the Business Developer
  • Ensure reports/Certificate of inspection and training have been sent to customers at the end of the inspection/training
  • Make sign timesheets of the inspections done by the clients
  • Make sign Acknowledgement of Works Performed by the clients
  • Deliver inspection and training on time
  • Keep record and filing of all inspection’s information (Offers, PO, Reports, Certificates, Timesheets, Acknowledgement of Works Performed etc.)
  • Follow up BV safety procedures and policies during execution of inspections
  • Make sure that equipment used for inspection are up to date and calibrated
  • Proposed BV Services according to customers’ needs
  • Follow up of customers’ expectations
  • Act as an advisor to clients, colleagues, and external bodies, providing technical and legislative advice where necessary
  • Draft clients offers and submit to the Project Manager
  • Assist the Project Manager in commercial activities
  • Assist the Project Manager with other tasks that may deem necessary
  • Carryout additional duties and functions that the management of BV may deem necessary.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Academic Requirement: 2 years of Technical College degree,Electronics/Electrical engineering, Civil Engineering

  • English proficiency
  • Good personal and human contact and fluent communication
  • Communication, Tenacity, Listening, Negotiation
