The Maryland Oil Palm Plantation (MOPP), which is involved with the Oil palm production; and operating in Maryland County – Liberia, requires the professional services of the following:

Position: Internal Auditor (Ref #: IA / MOPP – 0311-23)

Candidate Needed: One (1)

Duty Station: MOPP Plantation, Maryland County

Duration: Indefinite (but begins with probationary contractual services)

Report to:

Purpose:

• Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Identify the financial risk of the organization and offer recommendations to reduce risk.
• Identify accounting and financial record-keeping processes that can be improved
• Determine ways to cut costs and improve profitability
• Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and make recommendations for improvement
• Present findings to senior management in the form of reports and presentations

Skills and specifications

1. a) Ability to follow established procedures and practices;
2. c) Good communication skills: both reading & writing;
3. d) Computer Literacy (basic Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
4. f) Must be willing to work extra hours
5. b) A strong commitment to environment, health & safety guidelines;
6. g) Must be willing to learn and accept corrections to suit standards

Knowledge/Experience required for this Job

Internal:

– Education: BSC. Accounting, Finance or Business Management

Experience: At least 2 years of experience.

External:

– Education: BSC. Accounting, Finance or Business Management– Experience: At least 3years
