Job Title: Data Analyst Intern (x1)

Location: Buchanan, Grand Bassa County

Duration: Six Months

Salary: $250.00

Responsibilities:

Able to collect, store and use data on Concern Liberia Programme activities to inform discussions and make better decisions, Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques that enhance efficiency and quality, Share ideas about how to overcome key challenges facing enumerators and data managers in the programme. Under the supervision of the MEAL Coordinator, undertake routine monitoring of programme activities and outputs to facilitate identification of implementation gaps and share reports with M&E Manager and MEAL Coordinator; Submit regularly weekly activity and monthly plans and reports

Experience & Qualification:

∙ Have a Degree in a related area

∙ Capacity to undertake multiple assignments

∙ Experience in research and voluntary work is an advantage.

Job Title: Agribusiness and Market Linkage Intern (x1)

Location: Buchanan, Grand Bassa County

Duration: Six Months

Salary: $250.00

Responsibilities:

Nurture a functional market information system (MIS) for value chains promoted by PARTNERS programme – Cassava, groundnut, pineapple, plantain, cowpeas, groundnut and vegetables; Link-up SHFs, MGs, and Entrepreneurs to meaningful markets locally and outside their districts, markets, Actively participate in conducting weekly and monthly assessments on prices for value chains promoted by the PARTNERS programme, Provide market mentorship to Entrepreneurs implementing demo site commercialisation, managing storage and processing centres; also SHFs and MGs doing IGAs, Work with Local partners to activate and use effective and efficient MIS channels especially radio and the SMS platform (where possible); Identify wholesalers with Common Interest Group (CIG) for petty trade, large businesses etc; Support Entrepreneurs in the area of negotiating prices with potential wholesalers and other buyers.

Experience & Qualification:

∙ Degree in a related area.

∙ Experience in data collection and research an advantage

∙ Previous exposure in the area of marketing or business.

∙ Experience and skills in setting, managing and achieving targets in marketing.

∙ Good business and marketing skills

∙ Good planning and communication skills

Job Title: Nutrition and Advocacy Intern (x1)

Location: Buchanan, Grand Bassa County

Duration: Six Months

Salary: $250.00

Responsibilities:

Support with update, review and develop IEC materials for nutrition; Keep track of current nutrition affairs in Liberia and document learning and best practices; Work closely with staff to support organisation workshops and training and facilitate required training and/or learning sessions; Prepare weekly and monthly activity plans; Work closely with programmes’ field-based staff to conduct learning sessions with Mother Groups and CSLA groups on Maternal Infant and Young Child Feeding Practices; Prepare regular field activity reports; Adhere at all times to Concern’s policies, guidelines and standards

Experience & Qualification:

∙ Minimum of Diploma from a recognized institution, with a bias in any of the programmatic areas (Nursing, Environmental Health, Public Health and Sociology)

∙ Excellent communication and networking skills

∙ A first University degree in the relevant fields is preferred.

∙ Skills in photography, management of social media platforms and computer proficiency including hands-on use of the internet, Word and Excel packages ∙ Flexibility to live and work in remote communities.

∙ Ability to work as a team with others, and with local stakeholders.

∙ Good interpersonal communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English

Job Title: Human Resource & Admin Intern (x1)

Location: Buchanan, Grand Bassa County

Duration: Six Months

Salary: $250.00

Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage the personnel files; Support the HR/Admin Officer in compiling monthly HR/Admin reports; Ensure all necessary paperwork and records are kept accurate and up to date at all times, including the setup and maintenance of effective filling systems; Assist the Admin Assistant to ensure items are stored correctly, that they are accessible, that available storage space is being managed well and provides the stock report; Liaise with the Admin Assistant regarding stock replenishment; Receive and record correspondences from other locations and external sources and dispatch accordingly; Filing, binding and photocopying documents as requested; Maintenance of files in the container; sort in date order; Share and collect staff timesheet; Sent out an email notification to staff on public holidays; Manage the filling of staff leave cards; Maintain and update all lease and other agreements electronic tracking sheet; In addition to the above, you may also be asked to carry out other duties by your manager; Liaise with HR/Admin Officer to promote staff wellbeing.

Experience & Qualification:

∙ At least a college graduate;

∙ Proven experience as an HR/Admin assistant or in another relevant administrative role;

∙ Computer literate and able to work in a fast-paced environment; Working knowledge of office equipment.

∙ Be willing to work during extra hours; Attention to detail.

∙ This role will suit a “people” person with good communication skills who is able to interact with all levels of staff.

Support in the development of procurement documents, collecting quotes and procured items; assist the Storekeeper in updating store documents, stock count, receiving and releasing of store items; support filing and archiving of all logistics documents, and management and updating of databases; roll out of the digitalized fleet logbook; receive specific training on an area relevant to the role; support in the operational management of the Solar system

∙ An undergraduate degree attained within the last two years

∙ Strong interest in the use of innovative technology and tools for development cooperation programmes and systems

∙ Strong interest in working in rural areas and sensitivity to the needs of the extreme poor
