USAID DATA, EVALUATION, LEARNING, AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE (DELTA) ACTIVITY

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM – COHORT 3

The USAID DELTA Internship Program is a multi-year intervention intended to produce a new cadre of qualified monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) professionals within the Liberian workforce who have the skills required to contribute to future Liberian development programs. Under the internship program, a cohort of 20-30 interns are trained and placed with reputable host organizations in Bong, Grand Bassa, Lofa, Margibi, Nimba, and Montserrado Counties each year. Each intern receives a monthly stipend and an assigned laptop for the duration of the placement. Interns also receive periodic training and routine mentorship on monitoring, evaluation, and learning, work readiness skills, and computer skills.

PERT Consultancy, Inc., USAID DELTA sub-contractor, is the implementing partner for the internship program. PERT Consultancy, Inc. is currently recruiting highly self-motivated, hardworking, and committed young people for Cohort 3 of the internship program. Eligibility Criteria

An applicant for the USAID DELTA Internship Program must at the time of application meet the following criteria:

  • Have an associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning. Prospective graduates (graduating seniors with less than seven credit hours) of a bachelor’s degree program from an accredited university will also be considered. Be not more than 35 years of age
  • Be a legitimate resident of Bong, Grand Bassa, Lofa, Margibi, Nimba, or Montserrado County Have good oral and written communications skills in English
  • Have knowledge of basic computer operations
  • Possess strong interest in monitoring, evaluation, and learning
  • Have strong commitment to learning, service, and hard work
  • Have no more than a year of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning How to Apply?
