Subject: Invitation to Tender for the Construction of five (5) New Water Points (1 Mechanical drill bore hole/ 4 Manual drills) and rehabilitation of four (4) existing water points in District #2, Grand Bassa County.

We are pleased to invite you to submit a tender for the Construction of five (5) New Pumps (1 Mechanical drill pump/ 3 Manual pumps) and rehabilitation of four (4) pumps in nine (9) of 30 ASPIRE Project communities in District #2, Grand Bassa County. SHED therefore requests all interested parties/companies to submit their proposal package to the following email address: info@shed-liberia.org, by the deadline reflected below.

Project/Contract Overview

The ASPIRE (Addressing Social Protection in Isolated Areas with Early Childhood Nutrition, Livelihoods and Climate Change Activities) project is a multisectoral initiative(an integrated programming that includes Health, Nutrition, MHPSS, Food Security, Livelihoods and Climate Change) led by Action Against Hunger (AAH) and co-implemented by Serving Humanity for Empowerment and Development (SHED) in partnership with Concern Worldwide (CWW) which runs for the period of five (5) years- October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2028.

Specific Objective

To enhance sustainable access to and utilization of safe water, improved sanitation, and environmental hygiene practices, with a special focus on children under five years and support communities through the construction of new water points and/or maintenance of exiting water points and household water treatment promotion thereby resulting to:

  • Improved access to sustainable water supply.
  • Enhanced hygiene practices among community members.
  • Reduced incidence of waterborne diseases in targeted communities.
  • Strengthened community ownership and sustainability through trained WASH committees.

Tender Submission Requirements: Please ensure your tender submission includes the following:

  1. Detailed Proposal: Outline your approach, methodology, and timeline for completing the project/contract.
  2. Cost Breakdown: Provide a detailed cost estimate, including all expenses, fees, and taxes.
  3. Company Profile: Include relevant information about your company, such as your experience in previous similar works, and general capacity in the related field
  4. References: Provide at least [3] references from previous clients.
  5. Legal and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and provide necessary certifications and clearance.
