Summary of Position:
This position primary focus is in the area of computer operations, user and desktop support (hardware and software), helpdesk support duties to ensure smooth delivery of technology services. Monitors and assists others in the operation of computer hardware, software, and other peripherals in order to achieve desired results. Utilizes computer equipment, software and diagnostic tools to perform a broad range of assistance. Updates supervisor on status of technical issues. Exercises judgment and creativity in selecting and applying procedures correctly and determines when to refer problems to the supervisor or next level of support.
Description of Responsibilities:
▪ Monitor site’s network performance to ensure proper operation and internet connectivity ▪ Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
▪ Resolve assigned tickets in optimal SLA timeframe
▪ Provide Training for users in MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and other O365 applications ▪ Installation and configuration of computer hardware and software application as needed ▪ Ensure all users machines are properly configured with Enterprise OneDrive for real-time backup
▪ Ensure all update patches are installed for users’ computers and Enterprise networking equipment
▪ Provide timeous and quality monthly reports on IT achievements, challenges, and upcoming plans for the assigned site
▪ Conduct quarterly preventative Maintenance of IT equipment
▪ Maintain an accurate and updated IT equipment inventory for the assigned site ▪ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
▪ Education: Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or other related fields.
▪ Preferred Job-related Experience: At least 5-7 years of relevant experience
