Job Title: IT Product Officer

Job Summary
The IT Product Officer is responsible for the end-to-end management, delivery,
implementation, support, and promotion of PAROUS GROUP’s digital and technology
solutions. This includes the Liberia HR Jobs Board, Freelance Connect, Digital HR
Software, Biometric Solutions, and IT Services (including website and system
development).
The role combines technical expertise, product management, customer support, and
business development, ensuring that all products are effectively deployed, adopted, maintained,
and continuously improved to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Implementation & Delivery
- Lead deployment and onboarding of:
- HR Software systems
- Job Board platforms
- Biometric attendance devices
- Custom websites and enterprise systems
- Conduct client requirement analysis and configure systems accordingly
- Deliver user training and onboarding sessions
- Ensure timely and successful implementation of solutions
- Product Management & Improvement
- Monitor system usage and performance
- Identify gaps and propose enhancements
- Work with developers to:
- Fix bugs
- Improve features
- Develop new tools/modules Contribute to product roadmap and innovation
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting (Client-Facing)
- Provide first and second-level support to clients
- Troubleshoot:
- Software issues (HRIS, job board)
- Hardware issues (biometric devices)
- Integration and network problems
- Maintain systems, updates, and backups
- Escalate complex issues when needed
- Internal IT Support (Office & Staff Support)
- Provide day-to-day IT support to staff:
- Computer systems (desktops/laptops)
- Printers, scanners, and peripherals
- Email and user accounts
- Install, configure, and maintain:
- Operating systems and software
- Antivirus and security tools
- Manage office network:
- Routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points
- Internet connectivity and performance
- Troubleshoot internal IT issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Support internal systems such as:
- HRIS
- Attendance systems
- File storage and backups
- IT Infrastructure & Asset Management
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and devices
- Ensure proper setup and maintenance of:
- Biometric devices (internal and client use) Office servers or cloud systems
- Implement basic cybersecurity measures:
- User access control
- Data protection
- Backup and recovery systems
- Ensure safe handling and documentation of IT assets
- Marketing & Product Promotion
- Support sales and marketing of IT products:
- Conduct product demos and presentations
- Explain technical solutions to non-technical clients
- Assist in creating:
- User guides
- Product documentation
- Training materials
- Identify opportunities for upselling services
- Business Development Support
- Engage clients to understand needs and propose solutions
- Assist in preparing technical proposals and quotations
- Maintain strong client relationships
- Represent PAROUS GROUP during client meetings and deployments
- System Development & Innovation
- Participate in development of:
- Web applications
- HR systems
- Internal tools
- Work with:
- PHP / Laravel
- JavaScript
- APIs and integrations Test and validate new features before deployment
- Suggest automation and efficiency improvements
- Data Management & Reporting
- Track system usage and generate reports
- Maintain logs for:
- Support issues
- System deployments
- Client configurations
- Provide insights for decision-making

Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Experience
- 2–5 years experience in:
- IT support / system implementation
- Product management or technical operations
- Software or web development
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of:
- Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP/Laravel preferred)
- Database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- API integrations Experience with:
- Biometric systems or hardware devices (added advantage)
- HR Software / ERP systems (added advantage)
- Networking basics and troubleshooting skills
